Enter the network name, password, security type and hidden-network setting. The QR payload and image are created in your browser. The SSID and password stay in browser session storage and are never put in requests to our servers or the URL.

Compatible WiFi payload

The code uses the de-facto WIFI: payload understood by many Android and iOS scanners. WPA covers common WPA/WPA2/WPA3 personal networks; WEP is legacy, and “open” omits the password. Special characters are escaped. A QR code visibly contains the credentials, so share and display the downloaded PNG only where you would reveal the password itself.
