The fixed team pools

The tool stores 15 American League teams and 15 National League teams. It displays team names only. It does not show divisions, cities, ballparks, colors, schedules or standings, and it does not query MLB live data.

The official current name of the former Oakland club is Athletics. MLB lists the club in the AL West while it plays its interim Sacramento seasons before the planned move to Las Vegas.

Draw behavior

  • All produces up to 30 unique teams.
  • AL or NL produces up to 15 unique teams, even if a larger count is requested.
  • A fresh draw reshuffles the selected fixed pool.
  • The list must be maintained when MLB officially changes a club name or league structure.
