Monthly planner

Choose a month and the day your weeks begin.

Next: add plans

Make a month plan you can read at a glance. Choose a year and month, set the weekday that starts the grid, and add items to the dates they belong to. Add a month goal and notes if they help you keep the bigger picture in view. Edit the entries as plans change, then print the calendar or choose Save as PDF in your browser print dialog.

How to make a monthly planner

  1. 1

    Choose the month

Select the Gregorian year and month. Choose which weekday appears in the first column.

  2. 2

    Add your plans

Choose a date and add an item. You can add more than one item to a day, edit or move an item, and remove one you no longer need. Add an optional goal and notes for the month.

  3. 3

    Check the grid

Review the dated calendar and make any corrections before printing. Items stay on the date you selected, even when you change the first weekday.

  4. 4

    Print or save

Open the browser print dialog for a month overview followed by dated details that carry your full entries. Print on paper or use Save as PDF when your browser offers it.

Put each plan on its actual date

A month grid is most useful when every item has a clear day. Put a deadline on its due date, an appointment on the day it happens, and a task on the day you intend to do it. If a day has several commitments, add separate items so you can edit or move one without rewriting the others.

Planner area Useful for Example
Dated item A commitment or task tied to a day Submit the application on the 12th
Month goal One outcome to keep in view Finish the first draft
Notes Context that does not need a date Ask the team about the review schedule

The goal and notes are optional. Keeping them separate from dated items leaves the grid easier to scan, especially in months with many appointments.

Pick a week start that fits your calendar

The planner suggests a first weekday based on your locale, and you can choose any weekday instead. Changing the first column changes the layout, not the dates assigned to your items. Match the setting to the calendar used by your family, school, or team. Week conventions vary by region, as described in Unicode’s locale date data.

This planner uses Gregorian month and date numbers. If you use another calendar for religious, cultural, or official dates, check those dates against an appropriate calendar before entering them here. The grid does not fill in holidays, repeat events automatically, or connect to another calendar service.

Check the print preview

Choose A4 or Letter paper. The print layout starts with a seven-column month overview, then flows full dated entries through detail sections that can continue onto more pages. Check the browser’s print preview for page orientation, margins, scaling, and legibility before printing. You can also choose Save as PDF if your browser or operating system provides that print destination. This is the browser’s PDF option, not a separate PDF download from the planner. A printed or saved copy is a snapshot; edit the planner and print again if your plans change.

No. You can choose any weekday for the first column. Items remain attached to their selected Gregorian dates.

Open Print and choose Save as PDF in the browser or operating system print dialog if that option is available. Check the print preview first. The planner does not create a separate downloadable PDF file.

No. Enter the dates and items you need yourself. The planner does not add holidays, repeat an item automatically, or sync with an external calendar.

The planner saves your edits in this tab’s browser session storage. Closing the tab or clearing browser data can remove that saved copy. If storage is unavailable, you can keep editing and previewing in the current tab, but should print or save a copy before leaving.
