Treat the limits as a preflight check
Meta’s Instagram Help Centre says a post can use up to 30 tags. Caption length is widely documented as 2,200, but the app and publishing APIs remain the authority and may change. This tool does not sign in to Instagram or validate a post. If a draft is close to either boundary, leave some room and confirm it in Instagram’s composer.
