Daily Planner
Set up your day
Make a practical plan for one selected date. Set the hours your day is available, add titled time blocks with categories, choose up to three priorities, and keep a short task list and notes beside the schedule. Pick an accent colour and A4 or Letter paper before printing. This planner is for a single day, not a shared calendar: it does not create events, invite people, sync accounts, or decide what you should do next.
How to make a daily plan
-
1
Choose the day and its hours
Select one date, then set a whole-hour start and end time between 00:00 and 24:00.
-
2
Map the work that has a time
Add each block's start, end, title, and category. Use the priority list, checklist, and notes for items that do not need a slot.
-
3
Review the printable sheet
Choose an accent and A4 or Letter layout, check the day at a glance, then open your browser's print dialog.
Give the day a visible shape
The planner separates commitments that need a time from work that needs attention but can move. Start with the date and the hours you can realistically use. Then add appointments, focus sessions, travel, breaks, or routines as time blocks. A title and category make the printed sheet easier to scan; the tool does not estimate duration, detect clashes, or reserve time in another calendar.
| Part of the sheet | Use it for | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Day hours | The window shown on the schedule | 08:00 to 18:00 |
| Time block | A planned activity with a start and end | 09:30 to 10:15, prepare presentation, Focus |
| Top priorities | The three outcomes worth protecting | Send proposal, call supplier, review notes |
| Checklist | Smaller actions that can be ticked off | Pack charger, file receipt |
| Notes | Context that helps you act | Ask for the latest figures before the call |
A realistic example
If you have a meeting at 10:00, a 90-minute piece of focused work, and errands after work, put those fixed or bounded activities into blocks first. Leave a little space around them instead of filling every hour. Next, choose three priorities that matter even if the day changes. The checklist can hold quick actions such as sending a confirmation or bringing a document. Notes are useful for details you do not want to turn into a task.
The sheet is a plan, not a record of what actually happened. Update it when a block moves or takes longer than expected. It cannot alert you, calculate travel time, coordinate availability, or resolve overlapping entries for you.
Privacy and printing
Your planner data is kept in this browser tab’s session storage while you use the tool. It is not sent to a server, placed in a link, uploaded, or synchronized with a calendar account. Closing the tab can clear the draft, and a browser that blocks session storage may not retain it while you move through the tool.
Printing opens the browser’s native print dialog. Many browsers offer a Save as PDF destination there, but that option is provided by the browser or operating system, not by this planner. The tool does not generate a PDF file, email a copy, or keep an online archive.
