Bill Tracker
Use this private bill tracker to place recurring bills on one monthly schedule. Add the bill name, amount, first due date, category and frequency, then review what is due, what you have personally marked paid, and what remains.
Build a monthly bill schedule
-
1
Choose the month and display currency
The currency changes the way amounts are displayed. It does not convert amounts or connect to an account.
-
2
Add each recurring bill once
Enter a name, amount, first due date, category and cadence. Choose weekly, every two weeks, monthly, quarterly or yearly.
-
3
Review the dates in that month
The tracker expands each recurrence into the selected calendar month and totals the listed amounts.
-
4
Use payment marks as a reminder
Mark a due date paid only after you have confirmed it yourself. This changes a local reminder and never sends a payment.
-
5
Print or export your view
Download the current schedule as CSV or print it for a planning meeting, then update entries as your bills change.
A bill calendar is for timing, not just totals
A monthly budget can look affordable while several large bills cluster before payday. A bill calendar makes that timing visible: list what is due, the amount and the date, then compare the busy weeks with your own income plan. The U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau similarly recommends gathering recurring bills, recording the amount and due date, and checking the calendar regularly.
| What to enter | How the tracker uses it |
|---|---|
| First due date | Starting point for future occurrences |
| Weekly or biweekly cadence | Adds dates every 7 or 14 days |
| Monthly, quarterly or yearly cadence | Keeps the original day number when possible |
| Payment mark | A local personal reminder for one listed date |
Recurring dates at the end of a month
For monthly, quarterly and yearly bills, the first due date sets the anchor day. A bill that starts on the 31st appears on the 31st where that date exists. In a shorter month, it appears on that month’s last day instead. Weekly and biweekly bills move forward in seven- or fourteen-day intervals.
Keep the tracker honest
- Add bills you actually expect, including annual insurance or subscriptions that only appear in some months.
- Check autopay separately with the company or your bank. The autopay checkbox here is only a visual label.
- Mark a bill paid after you have verified it. This tool cannot initiate, verify or reverse a payment.
- Revisit the schedule after a due-date change, a new bill, or a price increase.
Bill names, amounts, due dates, payment marks, display currency, and recurrence schedules stay in browser storage on the device you use. CSV export and printing create an output under your control, so protect those files and pages as you would any personal financial note.
