What this maker creates

This maker produces one square front image. It gives you a release title, artist line, optional subtitle or edition line, four preset visual themes, three square canvas sizes, and an optional image layer. SVG keeps the design as vector markup where possible; PNG gives you a raster image. The optional source image can be PNG, JPEG, or WebP and must be 2 MB or smaller. It is processed in the browser and re-encoded locally before it is included in the design.

The maker is not a music distributor, a stock-image search service, an AI image generator, or a rights-clearance service. It cannot submit a release, inspect a file after you download it, check whether another artist already uses similar artwork, or decide whether a title, logo, photograph, or font is safe to publish.

Prepare artwork for the destination you chose

Music services, distributors, and retailers can set their own current artwork rules. Before delivery, read the instructions for the exact service that will receive the file and make the export that service requests. DistroKid, for example, publishes current album artwork requirements covering the image and content it accepts. Requirements and review decisions can change, so an export from this maker is not an approval or a delivery-ready guarantee.

Test the cover at the size listeners will see

Open the PNG at a small size as well as at its exported size. A long release title, thin characters, low contrast, or a busy image can make the artist line difficult to recognize in a compact music library view. Shorten the optional line before shrinking the main title, and make sure the artwork still identifies the release without relying on a detail that disappears at thumbnail size.

Try each theme with and without the optional image. Keep the version that has the clearest reading order: title first, artist second, edition only when it genuinely distinguishes the release.

Keep the source image and design private on this device

The selected source image, your release text, the preview, and SVG or PNG export are handled in the browser. During the optional four-step flow, the working design is kept in this browser tab’s session storage so it can move between steps. It is not placed in the URL or sent through Livewire requests. Closing the tab or clearing its session storage can remove an unfinished design, so download an export when you need to keep it.

Normal page navigation still makes ordinary page requests. The local workflow does not remove your responsibility to keep a source copy, read the delivery requirements for your destination, and confirm that you have permission to use every part of the artwork.
