A recipe card works best when it answers the next cooking question quickly. Give the dish a specific title, state the yield when it matters, and keep each ingredient to one practical line. Put the method in the order it happens, with one action per step where possible. The optional note is useful for a finishing touch, a resting instruction or a substitution you already tested.
This maker is for one browser-local printable card. It does not parse recipes from a website, scale portions, convert units, calculate nutrition or allergens, create a PDF or image download, share a card, import a recipe, or make legal food-safety claims. It simply lays out the text you enter on a fixed 4 × 6 inch or A6 portrait card and opens the browser print dialog when the whole card fits.

For example, a tomato basil pasta card might say Serves 2, list pasta, tomatoes and olive oil, then use three steps: cook the pasta, warm the tomatoes, and toss everything together. Add Finish with basil and black pepper as the note. If a detailed version has eleven ingredients and long paragraphs of method, split it into a second card yourself or shorten the wording. The tool blocks printing when its measured layout would run past the fixed card boundary. Nothing is silently omitted.
Use a plain-paper test before printing on card stock. Browser print dialogs differ, so choose the matching card size, portrait orientation and actual-size or 100% scaling. Your browser handles the recipe data and the preview locally; the destination you choose in the print dialog has its own privacy policy.
