How ordering works

  • Uploaded items are the units you reorder. Move a PDF, JPG or PNG up and down in the list before merging.
  • Pages inside a PDF stay together. A multi-page PDF keeps its original page order; split it first if you need to interleave individual pages with images.
  • Images become their own pages. JPG and PNG files are inserted as image pages using their source dimensions.

Typical workflows

  • Scanned receipts. Add JPGs from a phone scanner app and merge them into one expenses-march.pdf for bookkeeping.
  • Application packet. Combine a PDF resume, cover letter PDF, certificate scans and a headshot into one submission.
  • Passport or visa application. Merge the form PDF, ID photo scan and supporting documents when a portal asks for a single upload.
  • School or client handoff. Put notes, diagrams, exported spreadsheets and signed pages into one document that is easy to review.

Size and quality tips

  • Image resolution. Larger photos create larger PDF pages and bigger output files. Resize very large phone photos first if you need a smaller PDF.
  • Use JPG for photos, PNG for graphics. JPG is usually smaller for photos; PNG is better for screenshots, scans with sharp text and graphics with flat colors.
  • PDF source preserved. Pages from an input PDF keep their original text and vector content — they’re not rasterized. Adding a 50 MB PDF to the merge won’t balloon the output beyond that.

Privacy

The source files are read and merged in your browser. This matters when the documents include IDs, bank statements, medical records or anything else you do not want processed on a third-party conversion server.
